Everything you need to know about ordering, pickup, and our small-batch chapters. Still curious? Ask a question →

Orders are placed through Hotplate during open preorder windows. When a chapter is live, the "Order on Hotplate" button takes you straight there. Outside of an open window, email plottwistbakehouse@gmail.com to discuss any requests.

Each chapter opens for a limited window. Check the Current Chapter page or the Calendar for the exact open and close times — once a chapter closes, it stays closed until the next plot twist.

Pickup happens at the location listed for each chapter, during a set pickup window. Bring your order confirmation. There is no home or apartment pickup.

No. As a Kentucky cottage bakery, all sales are in-person, direct-to-consumer pickup only. We are not able to ship treats.

Treats may contain wheat, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy, and are made in a home kitchen that also handles these ingredients. Product-specific notes are listed with each treat, but we cannot guarantee against cross-contact.

Never. Blake the golden retriever is part of the Plot Twist story and our hearts, but he is never part of the kitchen. All treats are baked in a clean, pet-free workspace.

We would love to discuss your event with you! Reach out through the contact form or email kelly@plottwistbakehouse.com with your date and details. Custom and event orders need a little lead time, so the earlier the better.

Most treats are best within a few days, and some keep longer refrigerated or frozen. Because everything is made to order in small batches, sales are final — but if something is not right, email within 24 hours of pickup and we will make it right.
