Hi, I'm Kelly, the baker and storyteller behind Plot Twist Bakehouse. I've been baking since I was a child growing up in Lexington, Kentucky; long before I knew butter, sugar and a little imagination could become their own kind of language.
For most of my life, words have been my craft. Plot Twist Bakehouse was born when I started wondering what might happen if I let that craft take a new shape.
Plot Twist is a dream beginning to rise: a creative outlet I hope will grow one batch and one story at a time.
I love the science of baking — the chemistry, the precision and the tiny decisions that turn a recipe into something delicious. But I'm just as drawn to the artistry of making something beautiful, nostalgic and full of personality. At Plot Twist Bakehouse, every treat is made to feel like a tiny edible story: sweet, familiar and a little whimsical.
